Teej, a three day long festival is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati . it’s a favourite festival of all ladies as well. So in collaboration with the magazine Grah Lakshmi the festival was celebrated with fervor and gaiety in the school premises.
Gaiety and zest marked the Teej Celebration on the school premises. The traditional colourful costumes of the mothers and faculty added to enhance the charm and mood of the celebration. Young students of class I and II danced on the Shri Krishna song and the girls of class VI and VII danced on the Punjabi cultural attire. Mothers of all the students were also invited.
There were many famous exhibitors as well for jewellery, designer clothes, cosmetics and home- made food products etc.
Students also made flowers in their respective classes, a day before the programme to give them to their mothers. They decorated the umbrellas as well.
There were many talent hunt competitions for the mothers and so were lots of exciting prizes for the winners.
Teachers were being called on the stage to give them a small token of love as a gift.
