Children possess wonderfully inquisitive minds and they repeatedly ask questions and this marks the beginning of their journey. Hence all such efforts are focused on giving them firm foundation of basic skills, besides giving them wings to explore the new vistas present in this world.
In the first summer break of the infant school i.e. Kalka Public School, the children utilized their time constructively to unleash and chisel their latent talents. Thus the SUMMER CAMP was organized at the school from 19 May’18 to 30 May’18 which included a bouquet of activities to provide children ample opportunities like yoga, aerobics, meditation, dance, drama, modeling, music, shaloka recitation, calligraphy, maths and science fun tasks, clay modeling, art& craft in collaboration with Pidilite, taekwondo, cooking without fire, rain dance, teambuilding games, and others for developing and grooming their personality which formed an integral part of their social development. All these activities were divided amongst the students as per their age groups in three categories. The Grand Finale was held on 31 May,2018. The lightening of the lamp was done by the dynamic In charge of the school Ms Seema Rana under whose guidance the talented children and hard work, teachers put their efforts to make the programme a great success. The parents and the audience admired the variety of performances of the students with the loud applauds. Attending such a programme motivated them to think beyond academics and experience the hues and facets of childhood.
